What can I expect from a consultation with a Naturopath?

Before your appointment

How to make the most of our time together. On booking, you will be sent a simple online health questionnaire. Please complete this prior to your consult so I can get a sense of your health story and history before we sit down together. It’s also important to help you start thinking about the what, when, how and why. So we can get the most out of your appointment for you. Gather a copy of recent lab results or specialist findings.

First appointment

This can be online or in-person. Together, we’ll look at how your body is responding to life right now and start building a picture of your whole health. We take a detailed health history, discuss your current symptoms, lifestyle, diet, supplements, medications, goals and anything else that you feel is important. This helps us identify underlying causes. It’s not about an ideal day, or being perfect. Let’s deep dive and explore what’s going on for you.

Following your appointment Kirstin will review your case, research and create an Individualised plan bespoke to you. Your Second appointment is covered in the initial consult price.

Second appointment

This is a review of findings, where you’ll receive a tailored treatment plan that may include recommendations for nutrition and lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, practitioner-grade supplements, further testing and self-care strategies.

When it comes to complex health issues there are often layers contributing to your symptoms and the timeframe to expect improvement depends on your individual circumstances.

Follow-up appointments

Health is a journey, and follow-up appointments are where we check in, fine-tune your plan, celebrate wins, work through the layers and adapting as your needs shift. These can be online or in-person, depending on your location. Follow ups are 4-6 weeks apart, we will find a rhythm that works for you.

All appointments are one-on-one, private, compassionate, and focused on helping you feel better. If you have any questions please reach out.

Client love

  • "I went to see Kirstin for hormonal issues and headaches. I found Kirstin to have an outstanding level of professionalism and compassion. She listened intently to all the fine details of my case and put together a simple and achievable treatment plan that to my surprise hit the nail on its head within a couple of months of being on the program. She clearly has a deep understanding of natural health and passion for this line of work. I highly recommend Kirstin’s naturopathic practice to anyone wanting a high level of treatment and a committed practitioner to making sure you achieve your goals."

  • "Kirstin picked up on an issue with my heart that my Doctor did not.  I am pleased to be able to push for further testing to establish what is going on while there is 'nothing wrong'."  "Now after one year and getting a second Doctor's opinion; they have found there is something wrong. I have now been referred to a Cardiologist for further testing"

  • "My 5 year old son had mild hyperactivity and a skin irritation. I took him to see Kirstin and after a couple of weeks of taking the herbal formula his attention span was a lot better and he had calmed right down. She also recommended increasing good fats in his diet to improved his skin and gave me easy to follow instructions on how to do this. What stood out the most is she gave me the tools to keep his mind busy as she presented the idea that he maybe not challenged enough therefore having that extra energy at the end of the day. I really appreciate the lifestyle advice on top of the nutrition and herbs. I am really happy with the outcome. Thank you Kirstin. "
