How does a Naturopathic, Nutrition & Herbal Medicine Consult work?

We start with a comprehensive consultation, I listen to your whole health story, we unpack your health history, current symptoms, review each body system, diet, lifestyle and goals.
This is where the more detail you can give, the better, so I can map patterns, collect the right clues and ask the right questions to later connect the dots looking at the detail and the bigger picture of what’s driving your symptoms.
The hour goes very quickly! Sometimes an hour isn’t enough time and I will book in an extra time with you if needed.

Included in the initial consultation price is a report of findings appointment.
This is booked at the end of your initial consultation, and is where you will receive a personalised plan outlining key findings and the first step of recommendations once all the hard yards of research and case analysis is done.
Your plan may include targeted nutrition, herbal medicine, referrals and / or practical lifestyle strategies that are designed to support your body in a way that feels realistic, achievable and gently helps your body restore balance.
Where appropriate, functional testing can be used to gain deeper insight into what’s happening beneath the surface.
This may include testing related to gut health, hormones, nutrient status, or other underlying drivers helping to guide a more precise and individualised approach.
Healing takes time and there is no quick fix to getting your health back on track. Just like layers of an onion, we have to work with what your body has capacity for and is currently needing then continue to work through the different layers as things change.
